DEDICATED TO MY COACHING PRACTICE!
I began my acting career at age 6, Go-Go dancing with Bugs Bunny in a Kool-Aid commercial. Since then I've done everything from “day-player” roles to leads in films, starred in multiple network television series, and performed on stages all over the world.
I'm also a writer. My essays and articles have been published in magazines such as Coast and Actors Ink. I'm the author of Shut Up and Dance! The Joy of Letting Go of the Lead (Tarcher/Penguin, 2011), a “dance of life” memoir exploring the relationship of masculine and feminine archetypes as embodied in the Argentine tango.
But my greatest passion is teaching. I was an adjunct professor for several years at California State University Northridge, and have presented my workshops and seminars at various settings including the SAG Foundation, PEN America, and the University of North Carolina. Currently I consult privately with actors, writers, and others, helping them to potentiate readings, public speaking, and media appearances.
I'm a also certified Tools® life coach. In this work I help everyone form performing artists and writers to CEOs overcome the psychological blocks that keep them from achieving their goals.
Please contact me here to book a coaching session. I look forward to hearing from you!
I've been a professional actor for virtually my entire life... I've had the good fortune to play roles I love and work with many highly respected actors.
Shut Up & Dance! my self-help/memoir using Tango as a metaphor for relationship was published by Penguin...
Although I love writing and acting my greatest joy is coaching...
